What To Do When You Kill Your Co-Star

A financially and creatively bankrupt acting troupes' production of Werewolf Romeo and Vampire Juliet goes horribly wrong when their Romeo dies three acts early.

In order to save themselves from jail, or worse, being exiled from the theatre, the troupe must lie, scheme, and "yes, and" their way into the cover up of the century.

"One of the best original shows I've seen in years!"
"For some off beat, lighthearted comedic fun This is the show to see!"
"A hidden gem of my Adelaide Fringe!"

The show was originally presented in an abridged form, then titled The Show Must Go On Or What To Do When You Kill Your Co-Star, at both OneFest and the Deloraine Drama Festival in 2021 (in Tasmania), as produced by The Hobart Repertory Theatre Society.

In the years following, writers Charlotte Murray and Noah Sargent worked on the script, expanding it to fit their original vision and outline without the 30 minute festival time limit. This version, with its abridged title, was presented by Lost Theatre Co. as their naarm/Melbourne debut at The Butterfly Club in February of 2025.After record crowds and high praise, The Butterfly Club invited the team back for an encore season that May.

In 2026, the show was remounted with most of the same team at Adelaide Fringe, presenting the work at the Goodwood Theatre and Studios. The show was once again met with high acclaim by audiences and critics alike, being called by some the "Hidden gem of [their] Adelaide Fringe."
