About
Lost Theatre Co.

Lost Theatre Co. is a multi-award winning, youth-led collective supporting emerging creatives with bold new work.

Founded in 2022 by Noah Sargent, Elise Bagorski, and Maddie Clifford in lutruwita/Tasmania, our body of work ranges from the highly lauded horror comedy Nightmare Time (2022), to the experimental branching story paths of Musical Chairs World Championship (2023, 2025), to the farcical romp of What To Do When You Kill Your Co-Star (2021, 2025-26), to the improv comedy game-show Last Actor Standing (2025-26), amongst others.

Now operating with Noah Sargent and Jay Watts as co-heads of the naarm/Melbourne branch, we remain committed to championing young creators with diverse perspectives and big ideas, and making theatre an accessible space for all to enjoy.

Our Values

AI Statement

Art is made, it is not generated.

At Lost Theatre Co. we believe in the power of art, while acknowledging and celebrating the humanity within art. It is this humanity that makes art worth making, worth watching, and worth engaging in.

Lost Theatre Co. will always stand for artists and creativity, and will never use generative AI in any aspect in anything we produce.

Art created by humans, for humans.

Sustainability

Lost Theatre Co. prioritises sustainability and has a 90% minimum for using recycled and second-hand materials in our productions.

Theatre involves a lot of printing and a lot of paper that often ends up recycled at the end of a production. Any money we spend on printing is matched by a donation to Greening Australia to go towards their work in reforestation.

Code of Conduct

Lost Theatre Co. has a strict code of conduct anybody involved in one of our productions is held to. This code of conduct is designed to create a safe and respectful space for everybody no matter what.
